★The Harappan culture was the must extensive or the ancient civilizations in area, including not only the Indus plain (the Punjab & Sindh)but also northern Rajasthan & region of Kathiawar in western India.
★It covers an area of about 12,50,000 sq.km.
★It was extended in the west upto Sutkagen Dor.Alamgirpur in Meerut district in east Daimabad (Maharashtra) in the South &Manda (Jammu & Kashmir) in thr north.
★ Harappan settlement are mostly located on the river bank of Indus & Saraswati.
