Features of Indus Valley Civilizarion:
I)It was mainly a town based civilization of Chalcolithic period.
ii)To west of the each town there was a citadel area built on a high platform and defended by wall.
iii)The roads were built on grid pattern. Everywhere the main streets streched from north to south and other streets ran at right angle.
iv)Improved the planned drainage system was another feature of Indus Valley Civilization.
